Who are Haim?
Haim (pronounced hahy-ihm) are sisters Alana, Este and Danielle Haim. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, just outside LA, the trio formed family band Rockinhaim with their parents in 2007, which evolved into the indie rock trio we know today.
Their debut album, 2013’s ‘Days Are Gone’, was released to much critical acclaim. 2017’s ‘Something To Tell You’, took a while to materialise, with the band privately dealing with the cancer diagnosis of their producer and Danielle’s boyfriend, Ariel Rechtshaid, during its creation. In 2020, the band release ‘Women In Music Pt. III‘, a hugely accomplished album full of wonky basslines and catchy riffs, dance tracks and emotional ballads. We awarded it third place in our best albums of 2020.
