Gloucestershire’s Barn on the Farm festival is fast approaching. Taking place at Over Farm just outside Gloucester, the festival – built on the spirit of community and collaboration – will gather together some of indie’s most exciting names from the 29th June-2 July. This year’s Barn lineup is seriously impressive. Here are just five of the acts we can’t wait to see.
Holly Humberstone

For her first-ever festival headline slot, Brits Rising Star winner, Holly Humberstone will undoubtedly bring something special. Returning to Barn for the second year in a row, Holly’s emotive and tender songwriting will strike exactly the right chord at this year’s festival. With her debut album due this year, perhaps we’ll even hear a sneak peek of some new songs.

When Jack Antonoff is not busy producing all of our favourite albums (Lorde’s ‘Melodrama‘, Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’, Lana Del Rey’s ‘Ocean Blvd‘) he’s the frontman of the very fun and Springsteen-influenced band, Bleachers. With three albums under their belt and decades of touring experience, Jack and his multi-instrumentalist band are well-versed in bringing the party. But will he bring any of his famous pals along for the ride? Only time will tell.

One of our Future Five for 2023, Tommy Lefroy have been ones to watch for a while. The duo play melancholic indie-pop in the vein of boygenius. In fact, the supergroup was the spark behind them starting a band.

Croydon’s Rachel Chinouriri is one of the most exciting indie-pop artists around. Her new EP ‘Better Off Without’, details a break-up and its many complex emotions across four, mesmerising tracks. Fresh from supporting Lewis Capaldi on tour and a run of headline shows, we can’t wait to see what Rachel brings to Barn.

Get ready to Stan, there’s a new supergroup in town. Fizz is made up of Orla Gartland, dodie, Greta Isaac and Martin Luke. Formed ahead of Brighton’s The Great Escape festival earlier in the spring, the quartet of legends are gearing up to release some very, very fun pop music. Let their Barn On The Farm set be your first taster.
