Dear Boys World, I’m afraid to show people who I really am in case they don’t like me, my style or my personality in general. What do you think will help?@bgyufavs on Twitter

Thank you so much for your question! I’m sorry if you’ve ever felt the need to hide who you really are. It’s so important to be your authentic and truest self. I promise you, you’re so beautiful and unique just the way you are, okay? Sometimes we fear what others might think or say about us and it can feel really scary because you just want to feel accepted. Firstly, I think it’s important to stop criticizing yourself so much. You have to learn to let go of the idea of wanting to be liked by everyone because that’s just impossible! It’s also just learning to love yourself and be comfortable enough to be YOU without fear of judgement. If people can’t accept you for the real you, they don’t deserve you. This is your life and you are capable of doing amazing things. This won’t be easy and it may take some time to practice all of these self-love habits but I believe in you xx

Dear Boys World.. with the virus currently, I find it hard to find anything to do that’s enjoyable. Do you have any suggestions? What are you guys currently doing to keep yourself sane and happy during this crazy time?@verydiem on Twitter

Some things that I have done during this time consist of making aesthetic Pinterest boards, doing pilates workout videos, buying plants, taking walks outside, writing songs and basically anything that prevents my mind from overthinking. Being trapped in your house can make you go crazy. So, being able to find hobbies that can make that time a little more enjoyable is the first step to keep yourself happy and sane. If you have a backyard, spend some time outside, have a picnic and watch a movie on your phone or laptop. I have watched so many movies and tv shows this past year it’s actually crazy. I’ve also rearranged my room many times to keep myself busy and feeling new.

Dear Boys World, I graduate from college this year and I’m trying to figure out what I want to do but I feel lost. How do you know if you’re on the right path??@18kst on Twitter

Since we were young, we always knew this is what we wanted to do: pursue music! This path felt so right and that it was so destined to be. You never really know what way our lives will turn out so it’s great to go with the flow, see what happens, and follow your passions. if you have that unbreakable determination, the universe has no choice to be on your side. Even if you don’t know exactly what you want to do, it’s so important to try new things! Don’t worry about it being “conventional” or “realistic” just follow what your heart loves. Think back to childhood. What made you the most excited before society told you “that’s not practical” or that it’s impossible to achieve. if you’ve never really known, try some stuff out! Try something new every week or month or however you want to do it and see what sparks your interest! Something will eventually stick no matter how long it takes! Don’t put so much pressure on yourself to have it all figured out! Most people don’t know what they truly want to do until they’re grown adults. At the end of the day, your life is meant for YOU and it’s the most important to make yourself happy. Love u !!
