Taylor Swift has announced that she will put out an unreleased song tomorrow (March 25).
Posting on Twitter, Swift wrote: “I wanted to let you know that the first ‘From the Vault’ song I’m releasing from ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ comes out tomorrow at midnight eastern.
“It’s called ‘You All Over Me (From The Vault)’. One thing I’ve been loving about these From The Vault songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favourite artists.”
The track will feature country singer-songwriter, Maren Morris, on backing vocals and much like ‘Folklore‘, The National’s Aaron Dessner will be on production duties (along with Scooter Carusoe).
The track is taken from Taylor’s upcoming re-recorded version of her 2008 album, ‘Fearless’, the original masters of which were sold to Scooter Braun, reportedly against her wishes.
Lockdown has been something of a purple patch for Taylor, releasing two albums back to back last year (‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’), making a documentary of the process (Folklore: The Long Pond Sessions) and scooping the Grammy Award for Best Album at the 2021 ceremony.
