With just a day to go before the 2022 festival, Coachella have finally revealed their “unprecedented” set times for weekend one of the Californian festival.
After reported news of a pay dispute and threats to pull out, fans will be pleased to see that The Weeknd remains on the bill as the Sunday night headliner, with Swedish House Mafia.
But the festival lineup isn’t without some unavoidable clashes.
British rapper Slowthai and 88 Rising’s NIKI will be disappointed to see that Arcade Fire’s surprise set has been scheduled at the same time as their performances. Fans of Aussie punks Amyl and the Sniffers and indie queen, Phoebe Bridgers will have a tough call to make between the two.
On Saturday, fans of both Rina Sawayama and Girl In Red will have to make the tricky choice over who to watch as the pair play the Gobi and Mojave stages at roughly the same time.
Fans of FINNEAS and Kim Petras will be stuck choosing between the two on Sunday.
But overall, despite all the changes over the last two years, the lineup remains solid and fans should be set for a memorable weekend of world-class music.
