Wet Leg are back with a brand new song and new album on the way.
‘Moisturizer’ will be the band’s second LP and follow up to their Grammy-winning debut. It’s due for release on July 11th and the news arrives with lead single ‘Catch These Fists’ a ferocious dance-punk anthem that maintains the band’s knack for making sprechgesang fun.
The accompanying music video, directed by the band and shot on The Isle of Wight, nods to Ti West, Cameron Crowe and their own ‘Wet Dream’ video and is a suitably off-kilter introduction to the ‘Moisturizer’ universe.
Watch the video and hear the song below.
The band have been away a while. After a whirlwind of hype and success that saw them shut-down Glastonbury’s Park Stage, tour with Harry Styles, get shout-outs from Elton John and scoop up three awards at the 2023 Grammys, they needed a moment to plot their next move.
Working again with Dan Carey on production duties, ‘Moisturizer’ sounds like it’s going to stay true to the sound that made the then-duo so beloved, but explore sillier, bolder territory.
