Cate Le Bon has unveiled a new single, ‘Always The Same’, featuring vocals from St. Vincent.

Sculpted from Le Bon’s distinctive art-pop palette ‘Always The Same’ marks the second collaboration between the two artists and long-time friends. It follows Le Bon’s production work and vocal appearance on the title track of St. Vincent’s Grammy-winning ‘All Born Screaming’.

Speaking about the track, Le Bon said:

“Always The Same’ needed a little more elbow room than the album would allow but it is cousin to the song cycle of Michelangelo Dying, coming into formation in the same breath. Special to me because it features dear friend and mighty artist St. Vincent who occupies the space around me with composure and gravitas whilst I kick around in the dirty waters of love.”

The release of ‘Always The Same’ arrives just ahead of Le Bon’s most extensive North American tour to date, which kicks off next week. The run includes sold-out shows in New York and Boston, with further dates across Canada and the West Coast.

Alongside her own work, Le Bon’s recent production project — ‘Secret Love’ by Dry Cleaning — is set for release later this week.
