New York trio, Sunflower Bean, just made a glorious 2020 return with the release of new stand-alone single ‘Moment In The Sun’.
The indie darlings haven’t put out any new music since 2019’s ‘King Of The Dudes’ EP, which featured rousing tracks such as ‘Come For Me’ and ‘Fear City’.
The summery single features an accompanying music video – the band’s first in two years – which sees lead singer Julia Cumming, with a new pink do, peeping through a keyhole to see herself frolicking in a sun-drenched field and climbing trees.
Sunflower Bean released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Human Ceremony’ in 2016. Their follow-up, 2018’s ‘TwentyTwo In Blue’ showcased a more retro sound for the band, many drawing comparisons with early Fleetwood Mac.
