Margaret Qualley just released two new songs as her alter ego, Lace Manhattan.
The tracks will feature on the soundtrack to the upcoming Ethan Coen-directed film, Honey, Don’t, in which Qualley stars. Both songs are produced by Qualley’s husband, Jack Antonoff, who also plays on the recordings.
The first track, ‘Oddward’, is a synthy-dance track featuring Honey Don’t! co-star Talia Ryder. Watch the video below.
The second track, ‘In The Sun She Lies’ is Lana Del Rey-coded and better demonstrates Qualley’s vocal abilities.
Honey Don’t stars Margaret Qualley, Talia Ryder, Aubrey Plaza, and Chris Evans. The film is a dark comedy about Honey O’Donahue, a small-town private investigator, who delves into a series of strange deaths tied to a mysterious church. It will be released on September 5 2025.
Elsewhere, Jack Antonoff has been a talking point in recent weeks after the release of Too Much: Lena Dunham’s semi-autobiographical Netflix show, which focuses on a break-up with a long-term ex, thought to be based on Antonoff. It’s not the most favourable portrayal, so it’s good to see he’s been keeping busy!
