Although she’s long been considered a national treasure in South Korea and inspired a fervent following across the globe, K-pop icon IU is only just now about to kick off her first world tour.
The singer, who debuted in 2008, is heading out on a continent-spanning run this year, beginning in Seoul this weekend (March 2, 3). From there, she’ll head across Asia and Europe before finishing up with her first-ever US tour.
Although the Stateside shows don’t start until July, you’ll want to get stretching those fingers and limbering up to battle Ticketmaster now. Promoter Live Nation has announced ticketing details for the concerts, with the general sale beginning next week.
Tickets will be available from 12pm local time on both Live Nation and Ticketmaster. There is no fan pre-sale, so prepare for ticketing to be a bloodbath.
Here’s where IU will be performing in the US:
July 2024
15 – Newark, NJ – Prudential Center
19 – Atlanta, GA – State Farm Arena
22 – Washington DC – Capital One Arena
25 – Rosemont, IL – Allstate Arena

August 2024

IU recently released her latest mini-album, ‘The Winning’, which includes the single ‘Love Wins All’. The music video for that track boasted an appearance from BTS’ V, playing IU’s partner as the pair tried to outrun impending doom.
