The rumours for Coachella 2025 are already swirling

The desert dust is still swirling in Indio, but that hasn’t stopped rumours for Coachella 2025 already beginning to spread.

Yesterday (April 22), promoters Goldenvoice confirmed the dates for next year’s return to the desert. Coachella 2025 will take place on April 11-13 and 18-20, 2025, while tickets will go on sale on May 3, 2024. Such an early ticket sale doesn’t mean we’re about to get the line-up any time soon, though – we’ll likely have to wait for next January for that, as is tradition.

But festival-goers are already speculating over who could top the bill at Coachella next year. Even before this year’s weekenders, fans were suggesting Taylor Swift could headline. Her ‘The Eras’ tour run is currently set to end at the end of 2024, leaving her schedule wide open in 2025 – or, at least, as far as we’re aware.

Two new names for headliners have emerged since Coachella 2024 ended, too. Olivia Rodrigo, who joined No Doubt as a surprise guest at weekend one, is being touted for a top spot. It would mark her first full appearance at the festival and, at present, her first festival headline slot.

Dua Lipa, who returns May 3 with her third album ‘Radical Optimism’, is also reportedly in the running. It was rumoured that the star was asked to headline this year, but turned it down due to “timing issues” – likely that her new record would not have been released in time for the festival. Could we see her topping the bill in Indio next year instead?
