Blondshell, Gigi Perez – ‘Arms’

Grunge-pop soloist Sabrina Teitelbaum, better known as Blondshell, has launched this unlikely but exciting collaboration with folk singer Gigi Perez of viral ‘Sailor Song’ fame. The duet between the two American artists is a brooding number that is cosy in sound but dramatic in its lyrics. The track seamlessly blends Teitelbaum’s rock vocals with Perez’s unmitakable contralto croon.

The Altered Hours – ‘Such A Steal’

Long-time opening act for Fontaines DC, The Altered Hours are making a name for themselves as one of this era’s finest shoegaze outfits. After a four-year hiatus from releasing music, the Cork-based five-piece are well and truly back in business, unveiling their third new single of 2025. A minute-long intro lulls into a peaceful, melancholic track that reflects feelings of isolation.

Allie X – ‘Reunite’

Prolific goth-pop artist Allie X has shared a second single from her upcoming album ‘Happiness Is Going To Get You.’ ‘Reunite’ opens with a striking organ intro before launching into a funky, synth-pop melody reminiscent of ‘80s electro pioneers Yazoo and Depeche Mode. Lyrically, the track is an admirably honest admission of guilt addressed to a former lover.

Ruti – ‘See Through’

British solo singer Ruti Olajugbagbe’s brand new single captures a timelessness in its simplicity. Medieval-inspired strings are pared back to let her distinctive, powerful vocals dominate the track. The track is one of three released so far from her forthcoming album ‘Maybe I Got It Wrong,’ which is shaping up to be Ruti’s most diverse, experimental body of work yet.

Celeste – ‘Time Wil Tell’

BRIT Award-winner Celeste has returned with another brand new single. Leaning away from her usual neo-soul stylings, Celeste throws it all the way back to the golden era of jazz with the hauntingly beautiful ‘Time Will Tell.’ The track would fit right in amongst the hits of Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald, with its classic tones of romance and glamour.
