First, Wordle united us in pushing our linguistic knowledge to its limits. Then came Connections, challenging us to figure out just how a bunch of words were related to one another. Now, Taylor Swift’s fans have taken online puzzling to new heights with their own versions of Connections centred around the pop star’s back catalogue.
Yes, instead of spending ages staring at the New York Times’ daily frustrate-a-thon, you can now lose precious minutes of your day trying to crack the Swifties’ conundrums. Although the fan-made Connections aren’t a daily occurrence, they have made a bunch of them that will likely keep you guessing for a while.
Think you can beat the puzzles? Try your luck here, here, here and here, thanks to the Taylor Swift subreddit. It’ll at least keep you occupied until the pop star is back from her holidays and back at work.
When Swift does return from vacation, she’ll bring with her a whole new record. ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ was announced by the star on stage at the Grammys and will arrive on April 19. The album is set to feature guest appearances from Post Malone and Florence + The Machine. Find out what else we know about ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ so far here.
Meanwhile, Taylor will restart The Eras Tour in May when she brings the show to Europe. Paramore will join her as support on the run, which will stretch until late August. After that, Swift will head to Canada for a series of shows in November and December, where she’ll be supported by Eras Tour alumna Gracie Abrams.
