Sabrina Carpenter gears up for Coachella with some very saucy billboards

The pop star is flirting her way to her desert performance

The drive into Coachella from Los Angeles is decorated with big billboards advertising different performances at the festival. Sometimes they’re informative, other times pithy and fun, like Omar Apollo’s “Heterosexuality can be cured” ad in 2022 or Boygenius’ lawyer-esque notice last year.

It looks like Sabrina Carpenter will be the winner of best Coachella billboard this year, thanks to some very coquettish posters lining the highway to the desert. Skims’ latest star model is getting ready for a hot weekend at the festival and making big, flirty promises.

“She’s gonna make you come…” reads the billboard. “To her Coachella set. Sabrina Carpenter. See you Friday!” It’s cheeky, playful, and genius marketing.

The billboard won’t be the last we see of Sabrina’s sauce when it comes to Coachella. Expect the pop star to show off her x-rated rhyming on stage when she delivers the latest in her infamous, customised ‘Nonsense’ outros. Some fans have already been thinking up potential verses for her to use, riffing on the desert heat in their submissions.

Coachella is the latest in a number of big moves made by Carpenter in recent months. From late last year, she joined Taylor Swift as the opening act on The Eras Tour, describing the stint as a “childhood dream come true”. Just over a year ago, she shared the deluxe edition of her fifth album, ‘Emails I Can’t Send’, featuring four new tracks, including the hit single ‘Feather’.

This year’s Coachella will be headlined by Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and SZA. Other acts set to appear at the desert festival include LE SSERAFIM, Suki Waterhouse, No Doubt, Faye Webster, Ice Spice, FLO, Renée Rapp, and more.
