The Spanish popstar lit up Madrid’s Gran Vía with the album artwork for ‘LUX,’ out November 7th

Singer, songwriter and producer Rosalía has announced that her next album, ‘LUX,’ will arrive on November 7th.
The multi-Grammy Award-winning soloist took to Gran Vía, the central shopping street of the Spanish capital, to make the announcement. She turned off lighting across the area, before counting down to a projection of the album’s cover art spread across two billboards. The art displayed Rosalía dressed in a nun’s habit against a blue background.
The stunt made waves amongst Rosalía fans both in Madrid and beyond; while crowds gathered beneath the billboards to see in the countdown, the moment was broadcast to the world via TikTok and Instagram livestreams.
‘LUX,’ which will be Rosalía’s fifth LP, was recorded with the London Symphonic Orchestra. Famous voices featured include Bjork, Yves Tumor, and Silvia Pérez Cruz. The album will explore “a widescreen emotional arc of feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence.” Three exclusive tracks will be included only on CD and vinyl, encouraging listeners to enjoy the album in its physical form.
The official announcement was preceded with a series of clues across Rosalía’s social media, including a Tweet reading: “LUX = LOVE.” A billboard also appeared to tease the album’s release in Times Square, New York City.
Rosalía has made a name for herself not only as one of the most successful Spanish singers of all time, but also as a fashion icon. She made headlines earlier this year for the custom Balmain gown she wore to the 2025 Met Gala, and has become the face of Calvin Klein and New Balance. 2026 will see her make her acting debut, as she prepares to star in the eagerly-anticipated third season of HBO’s hit teen drama Euphoria.
The album is now available to pre-order and pre-save via Rosalía’s website
