GRACEY’s ode to our reopened pubs is a reworking of a Gwen Stefani classic

Someone had to do it.

BRIT nominee GRACEY has reworked Gwen Stefani’s track ‘Sweet Escape’ into an upbeat, catchy anthem about lockdown restrictions being eased and pubs reopening in England.

The 34 second TikTok video shows Gracey at home in a pair of stylish green shades, ready for the pub garden sunshine this afternoon.

She sings: “Pubs are open again / So yes it’s been a heavy weekend.” GRACEY even keeps up with the fast, rap-like pre-chorus from Stefani’s original with fun lyrics, “And we were getting the drinks in like never before / Soon as we ordered one we would order one more / Because who f**king knows about lockdown four.”
