CMAT: “If I was a 16-year-old girl on TikTok today, I would be on The Nolans TikTok for sure”

Tell you what, kids – we love CMAT. Ever since we heard the infectious ‘I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby’, complete with line “Always the cowboy, never the cow/ I hate the way my life turned out“, we knew we had to find out more.

So we arranged a little Zoom with Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson – AKA CMAT – to chat to the the Irish musician about the country flavour to her music, the place for comedy in songwriting and her very deep love for The Nolans. Watch the video interview, below.
